Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the maintenance and creation of all Lawter SDS for China and Asia Pacific using the SDS and Label Database Program MSDgen from the Verisk 3E?. provider of the software. Prepares standardized responses and processes for responding to customer inquiries on regulatory matters;
? Reviews product compositions to assure compliance with chemical control regulations and assists in the preparation of any requested notifications to government agencies;
? Develops and maintains a dossier on issues and questions associated with a product or product group, their end use/applications and sampling/testing/analytical data which addresses these issues.
? Increase the regulatory knowledge of the organization by means of giving internal training and presentations
? Proactive follow-up of relevant local and global chemical legislation
? Any other regulatory tasks assigned by supervisor and tasks on request of the PS&RC team to aid with service to global customers
Requirements:
? Minimum BS degree in chemistry or related field
? Minimum of 2 year experience in regulatory affairs
? Exceptionally detail oriented.
? Strong oral and written communication skills.
? Fluency in English
? Good Knowledge of Chinese and New Zealand laws related to chemical compliance .
? Knowledge of other Asian regulatory compliance laws related to chemicals is a strong plus .
? Knowledge of legislation related to food compliance is a strong plus.
