Business Developer （Building material）
- Must have minimum 5 years experience in handling tiles/mosaic/natural stone..
- Working location: Foshan, Guangdong

Key Responsibilities:
- Present relevant product-offers to the Sales Organization within SBN, to ensure that the strength of the sourcing area is acknowledged and understood within the company.
- Project management, execution and documentation of product developments.
- Identify suppliers who meet customer, price and quality requirements.
- Regular site visits to suppliers and relevant fair to stay up-to-date
- Communicate customer and quality requirements to suppliers
- Agree and sign off the terms and conditions with new suppliers.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date records of agreements and interactions with suppliers.
- Regular site visits to suppliers and relevant fair to stay competitive and up-to-date on new opportunities.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers, based on understanding of materials-, component- and manufacturing cost, as well as on knowledge of main “cost-drivers” in the products.
- Gather all quotes from suppliers and recommend “best-fit” supplier for the quotation, based on the supplier’s commercial and production capability.
- Respond to specific requests from the sales organization and ensure that competitive offers are presented in a timely and impactful way.
- Partner with the Quality Assurance Engineer to check production samples and ensure the product is being manufactured in accordance with specific customer requirements.
- Ensure that supplier chosen have the needed capacity available for that project / customer.
- Work together with the Operations team in case of delay of outstanding order to agree on action plans with factories so delivery schedule is back on track.
- Consult with the Office Leader and in partnership with the QA team, settle any claims arising from non-conformity with regards to quality requirements, or any other default on agreed specifications. 举报 分享
