Key Responsibilities:
? Interpreting the marketing needs and developing a concept to suit the purpose
? Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
? Working with a wide range of media, including photography and compute-aided design (CAD)
? Completes type setting, style sheets, page layouts and content. Lays out ads and special promotional. Proofs all associated documents. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites
? Maintains responsibility for photo manipulation; including image manipulation and transformation, digital retouching, image acquisition and scanning
? Creates comps, mock-ups, conceptual, presentation art, and original computer generated art for review. Serves as department resource for creating computer generated visual elements; including illustration, type, collage and ancillary effects
? Daily contact with ads agencies
? Mails and ships completed artwork as needed

Scope of Responsibility:
Responsible for own work. Frequent interaction to provide basic information and/or occasional interaction requiring detailed procedural explanations or technical responses.


Minimum Qualification
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/Arts or equivalent work experience required.
2. Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in graphic design position in an advertising agency, design shop or in house designer
3. Knowledge of:
- Post-script printing software for pre-press printing requirements
- Typography, color and printing production, and current up-to-date technology
- Color-rip software for large format and production printing
- Computer graphics software Adobe Suite - all elements PC based
- Requirements to achieve design vision, i.e. intellectual property, photography, illustration, legal approval, and copyright issues
- Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools
- Document Management Systems
- Record Management
4. Skill and Abilities
- Knowledge of printing and pre-press production software
- Familiarity of the creative requirements of marketing communications media including: advertising, print collateral, POP
- Ability to create/layout web based advertising materials with use of Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient artistic ability to create / design illustration for purpose of advertising support materials
- Visually artistic ability required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Intranet
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
- Posse's excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Team spirit, and can work independently
- Fluent English
- Outstanding skill in the use of MS Office
- Can work under pressure
- Frequent domestic travel require
