Job Position Description:

· TRACK’s functions span across customer database, resource territory and resource hierarchy creation and maintenance. The team provides support to all EMC Business units such as Channels, Sales, Customer Service, Global Revenue Operations, and other downstream clients.

· Analyst is responsible for driving operational efficiency within the TRACK organization, maximizing our responsiveness to business customers and leveraging best practices.

· The candidate needs to be fluent in written as well as spoken English, Chinese and Korean in order to support channel business localization as well as all other TRACK jobs for APJ region.

 

                                                                                                                                       

Responsibilities:

· Customer database creation and maintenance related:

· Channel business localization and SFDC deal registration: multi-lingual customer information research and verification, communication across teams as well as with partners for clarification, customer data inputting and maintenance across various business applications

· Support and maintain incoming Customer Data creation and modification requests and data maintenance (originating from including field-based, Customer Service and business units) ensuring quality of database by strictly following corporate guidelines

· Continuous data cleansing and enhancement projects

 

· Work closely with the global TRACK team in supporting territory assignment and resource management activities related to continuous sales alignment and restructuring

 

· Participate in group training opportunities

 

· Weekly conference calls with management outlining status of workload and provide process improvement ideas

 

· Provide end-of-quarter Support, ensuring most efficient turnaround of processing. Occasional after-hours stand-by is required during quarter end period.

 

 

Experience and Education Required:

· Strong English, Chinese and Korean spoken and written (please specify level of proficiency test taken if applicable); word processing skills

· Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

· Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel proficiency (intermediate level). Prior business processing and system skills an advantage

· Oracle and SQL experience a plus but not required

· Strong analytical and customer service skills ; ability to communicate with all levels with confidence

· Excellent organizational as well as multi-tasking skills

· Accountability, Self-initiation and creative-thinking

· High sense of urgency

· Highly-adaptive to technological and process improvements
