Position Summary
Leadership role providing in-market IT business technology partnership for the China leadership teams across all commercial IT capabilities within the Consumer Medical Devices business units.
This role will focus in domain areas including Analytics, Digital Eco-system, eCommerce, Innovation and CRM oriented investments across CMD. Responsible for the development of CMD China IT roadmap/business cases, investment directing, prioritization of the business portfolio. Partners with the Consumer and CMD Product Lines to ensure Product delivery across Digital, Sales, Analytics & eCommerce initiatives.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
30% Business IT interface:
– IT single point of contact for China, understands business needs & priorities
– Negotiate with the business to see what items (story points) are built and which are backlogged based on capacity
– Accountable for the development work getting done correctly
– Provides regular updates to business stakeholders as well as IT Leadership
– Writes, manages, and clarifies story points
– Work with domain/product owners to deliver the solution
– A critical point of contact for IT to IT service delivery
– Understands core internal IT products and ability to drive business value
– Drives business partners towards standard solutions
30% Business Requirements Analysis
– Maps business processes and translates needs into solutions with the respective Consumer and CMD Product Lines
– Develops high-level business cases for China investments
– Responsible for building the right thing; guides requirements
– Communicates the vision to technical team and supporting testing
– Understands development estimates and how levels of effort impact the priority of requirements
20% Program Oversight:
– Integrates across product interfaces and is responsible for the overall delivery timeline
– Verifies Scope & acceptance conditions, plans for resources, builds the execution team, controls project execution, coordinates project team activities, and secures funding.
– Manages product backlog and product quality for digital, eCommerce & analytics
– Coordinates with IT partners, represents project in management review, manages project communication to business & IT stakeholders
– Manages contractors and project teams
20% Technology strategist who spans multiple technology solutions:
– Influences technology strategy direction for commercial functions
– Understand industry digital marketing and analytics technology utilization and best practices
– Oversees internal and external collaborations
– Identify areas of opportunity as well as areas of dissatisfaction within business and come up with innovative solutions to address them
Basic Qualifications
? Required Minimum Education: Bachelors
? Required Years of Related Experience: 8+
? Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Digital Marketing, Sales, Business & Data Analytics, Project Management, Relationship Management, eCommerce
