Talent Acquisition Operations Manager-Asia Pacific & Japan


PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:


The purpose of this role is to bring innovation in Talent Acquisition Reporting capabilities, Functional Processes and Next Generation Recruitment Tools. As part of Asia Pacific TA Leadership team, the incumbent will partner up to deliver Best in Class recruiting solutions that have significant impact on the business outcomes.




Main responsibilities and tasks are:



1. Analytics (50%)

· Identify, compile and deliver required metrics by proactively managing multiple data sources. This will require in-depth understanding of the Applicant tracking system, building queries to extract data, ad-hoc reporting, interfacing with Abbott HQ, ensuring data are complete and accurate, and creating aggregated dashboards.

· Continually review and find ways to improve current processes for greater efficiencies and reduction in non-value added activities

· Generate and maintain concise set of standard reports that provide insight into performance and trending.

· Analyzes TA data and conceives measures, with the rest of the Leadership Team, to continuously improve the level of services provided to customers




2. Responsible for all Operations / Technology implementation across the Area in strong partnership with Corporate Groups and APJ TA managers (30 %)

· Drive Taleo Migrations, updates and efficiencies.

· Harmonization of TA Processes (design and create visio flow charts),

· Vendor management governance policy and processes (PO/SOX Signature, bid management...),

· Development of TA Trainings and on boarding plans for TA new hires

· Strong knowledge of Social Media Recruiting Tools, eg LinkedIn Recruiter, Mobile Recruiting Technologies, Virtual Recruitment.



Communication (20 %)
Internal Communication

Work closely with the Area TA Director and Partner with the HR communication head to design and implement an ad-hoc communication and dashboard strategy for the Area.

Take action and responsibility for other add-hoc projects as needed.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES :



· University degree or equivalent

· 6 years + HR Analytics/Consulting experience.

· Robust Project management skills and Dashboard experience.

· Analytical mindset, good understanding of Taleo.

· Articulate, strategic mindset but hands on.

· Highly organized, Creative problem solver

· Strong interpersonal skills are essential for successful interactions with key internal & external stakeholders.

· Strong knowledge, agility and appetite for IT tools

· Flexibility is a key element to success, as you will be required to travel to the various Abbott sites to fulfil the demands of this role.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Trained on Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies.
