Job Purpose:
Compliance Auditor in Pepkor Group is a professional that keeps the legal and ethical integrity of Factories and Suppliers located in Bangladesh intact through policy enforcement and program planning. He makes sure all supply base factories of Pepkor business are complying with the local rules and Code of Conduct the company upholds. Compliance Auditors are responsible for keeping up-to-date with changing laws that affect the corporate world, and are responsible for preparing reports to present to the Regional Chief Compliance Executive detailing these laws and how the Factories / Suppliers of the company are following them.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
? Conduct audits as per the work schedule approved by the Regional Chief Compliance Executive.
? Identify urgent /emergency job and bring into the attention of Regional Chief Compliance Executive.
? Perform at least 140 Ethical &Technical Audit per year to closely monitor the internal Control System of the factory as per the audit schedule of Compliance Coordinator and Regional Compliance Chief Executive.
? Prepare report based on findings and review the whole report.
? Prepare formal audit report with corrective action plan and submit it to the Compliance Coordinator and Regional Chief Compliance Executive within 3 working days of the audit.
? Review CAP evidences sent by Factories.
? Prepare compliance development plan of each factory and guide them to achieve it.
? Provide training to the factory compliance personnel to develop the factory compliance status.
? Implement compliance monitoring program, identify regulatory changes that impact the program and ensure that the identified risks are factored. All risk issues are communicated to Regional Chief Compliance Executive for an utmost solution if needed.
? Assist to prepare the Ethical & technical compliance manuals, policies, and procedures in Supervision of the Regional Chief Compliance Executive.
? Perform supply chain security audit to ensure Factories / Suppliers are not giving unauthorized sub-contract of Pepkor Merchandise.
? Communicate with each team members and Suppliers on an ongoing basis.
? Maintain an up-to-date regulatory knowledge base as rules and regulations change over time
? Provide analysis on Ethical & technical compliance related concerns and queries to Regional Chief Compliance Executive.
? Advice factories on any issues /supports them to take corrective action against all issues raised by 3rd party / internal auditors.
? Ensure proper corrective actions are taken for each non-compliance issues raised by 3rd party auditors.
Working Conditions:
This position requires traveling, reporting on time, working outdoors, working with challenging clients, flexible working hours and weekend work, and so forth.
