ROLE SUMMARY

The Pfizer Consulting & Execution (PCE) Senior Manager will be responsible for delivering and leading global and U.S. regional operational management consulting projects of varying complexity and scope. Depending on the project the colleague will provide project and program management, leadership to project teams and thought partnership with Pfizer leadership.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The PCE Senior Manager uses management consulting skills, business knowledge, processes skills, change management and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements and tools to analyze issues, drive alignment and achieve solutions for the business units. Typical projects include developing a new strategy, transformations such as restructuring components of the business, developing and implementing new operating models and governance, improving business processes, building new capabilities, etc. Projects may be global or regional in nature and often involve multiple divisions andor Business Units (BUs). The PCE Senior Manager provides project and program management leadership and is a critical partner with the project lead and sponsor of any project.
The Senior Manager will need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail along with written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility and relationship building skills.
The colleague will need to have a demonstrated understanding of the business and quickly learn the content while providing process and project management expertise. The colleague also needs to cultivate and maintain relationships across executives and internal stakeholders within the BU's and other Pfizer divisions to influence and drive business critical solutions.
The Senior Manager will most often work on a team of both PCE and BU colleagues collaborating to deliver on projects per the established timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

? Bachelor’s degree required; MAMSMBA degree or other advanced degree preferred
? 5+ years management consulting experience, internally or from a large management consulting firm
? 5+ years in-house at a pharmaceutical firm
? Demonstrated experience in managing projects teams, programs, or workstreams of varying levels of complexity
? Extensive experience with aligning stakeholders, facilitating conflict, and communicating information in a way that enables leaders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions in varying settings including workshops, small group sessions or one-on-one meetings.
? Commercial experience (sales, marketing, commercial operations, etc.) preferred
? Experience with operations management consulting methodologies and frameworks
? Experience with change management methodologies, organizational design, and business process re-engineering
? Strong oral and written communications capabilities
? Strong presentation and facilitation skills
? Fluent with technology solutions to manage projects including appropriate Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and SharePoint
? Demonstrated strength in business analysis
? Able to challenge and influence others in spoken and written English
? Basic understanding of finance
