Major Responsibilities/Activities:

The position is responsible for providing effective support to the Microbiological Lab Manager to establish and implement an efficient and proactive laboratory setting for microbiological testing. The incumbent should be fammiliar with microbiological testing and hygiene management for dairy products manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the followings. Other Duties may be assigned according to the needs of the comany or function.

Responsible for assisting Micro-Lab Manager to establish and maintain an efficient and proactive laboratory operation system
Assisting the Micro-Lab Manager on building microbiological testing system, including equipment management, reagent/culture/medium management, test method set-up, testing procedure development, EHS management, and microbiologist qualification.
Assisting the Micro-Lab Manager to train junior microbiologist
Assisting the Micro-Lab Manager on equipment procurement, and reagent/culture/medium preparation.
Assiting the Micro-Lab Manager on the investigations of OOS(Out-Of-Specification) and hygiene problems , defining and implementing CAPA(Corrective Action & Preventive Action) efficiently.
Assisting the Micro-Lab Manager on monitoring and communicating the associated trends of micro-testing techniques, hygiene management and compliance expectations in the industry and within the company.
Proactively propose any oppertunities to improve the efficiency and compliance of micro-lab management and hygiene management.

Responsible for implementing efficiently the activities associated with microbiological testing.
Supporting and performing micro test strictly following test procedures and test schedule.
Supporting and performing environmental monitoring as scheduled, and forward any opportunities to improve environmental hygiene.
Supporting and performing medium preparation, maintaining sufficient/adequate stock of reagents and glassware.
Supporting and performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and calibration management for micro laboratory instrument.
Supporting and performing lab doucment management and review
Involving in developing and implementing validation/qualification protocols, including manufacturing process/equipment, testing instrument/methods, utility, materials and hygiene monitoring.

EHS
Follow all EHS rules and procedures for QA department.
Report any EHS incidents and/or Near Misses (unsafe acts and conditions) promptly to supervision.
Attend all required training and medical surveillance programs.
Wear all PPE as required.
Propose any opportunities to improve the EHS program to supervision.
