JOB :Sourcing Planning Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Capture the essence of the whole job in one or two sentences.
- To proactively work with Purchasing & Logistics functions on all promotion related supply/stock communications, and solve problem
- To lead CPFR practice and closely communicate with key vendors on production planning & replenishment
JOB SIZE: Provide quantitative data such as # of restaurants/markets, sales, budgets, etc. Indicate size of operations for which job is responsible. Indicate domestic/worldwide accountability.
- New events' supply capacity insurance across all brands (over 50 new product launch every year)
- Inventory of over 3000 SKUs across 16 DCs
- Direct communication with key vendors
JOB FUNCTIONS: List major job functions using simple task statements. For example: Supervises the construction of all new restaurants. (Include % of time spent on each function.)
l Supply&inventory planning 70%
ü Based on given demand forecast, work closely with purchasing teams to secure supply capacity
ü Develop in-depth understanding on SKU/supplier, such as seasonality, monthly capacity, etc
ü Work closely with key vendors on Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) execution, proactively identify supply bottleneck and solve problems
ü Work closely with Logistics team on inventory target level setting, lead time/MOQ setting
l Generate & analyze supply & inventory planning performance reports, drive for improvement actions. 30%

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED: State formal educational level and experience required for the job. State additional professional, technical or years of experience required.
EDUCATION:
l Bachelor degree or above,
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
l Minimum 6 years of planning & inventory management experience in FMCG industry, ideally with production planning background
l Familiar with MS Office (Excel & Access) and ERP system (JD Edwards is preference)
l Logical Thinking and willing to manage details and data, lead action plans to solve identified issues
l Able to look for cross-function effectiveness
l Good English in listening/Writing/Speaking.
