Transmission Calibration Engineer – Shanghai
Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:
- Development and validation of automatic transmission calibrations for passenger car
- Shift quality calibration including clutch controls, torque/speed request, upshifts升档, downshifts降档(shift pattern), launch启动, creeping and hill stand,
- Supporting transmission bench calibration
- Supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across different operating conditions, the summer test, winter test and altitude test
- Data acquisition experience collecting and processing
- Support the validation and release of the calibrations into production
- Access transmission and vehicle performance with troubleshooting and problem solving of transmission on test bench and vehicle
- Coaching and leading junior calibration engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master degree on Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic 机电一体化Engineering or an alternative with relevant experience
- 3+ experience with the development and calibration of automatic transmission, power train systems calibration development, OBDonboard diagnosis calibration, or engine calibration
- Excellent problem resolution and analytical thinking skills
- Experience in automatic transmission performance assessment method
- Good knowledge on vehicle and transmission system
- Good knowledge of CAN, UDS, OBD
- Global team player
- Good oral and written English
- Experience in using CANape or ETAS-INCA
- Driver license
- Willing to travel (domestic & international )
