Position: Application Scientist (Temp/Fresh Graduate) - Inorganic 无机应用市场专员

Job Description:
Perkin Elmer is a global technology leader driving growth and initiative in the Environmental and Human Health Science markets. We are seeking a highly motivated integrated solutions scientist to join our Inorganic BU Group in Shanghai, China to develop applications and solutions to customers. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in a global team to drive key application identification, development and deployment.
Responsibilities:
? Develop integrated application solutions for global inorganic markets using AA and ICP based technology, including sample preparation, method development, application development and related consumables kits
? Lead strategic technology evaluation activities and provide technical assessment to BU Director, assist BU Director to formulate and drive application, product and technology roadmap.
? As a BU team member to identify key application topics according to customer requirements and market trend and deploy the solutions after development.
? Be a global application harbor across different teams. Work closely with regional product specialists across the world and manage the application library to better support both the commercial team and customers.
? Provide technical support to key sustaining engineering projects to deliver fast response to urgent field case or opportunity. And act as consultant as required to R&D team and operation team.
? Understand the regulatory framework regionally and identify opportunities to gain regulatory penetration, both in terms of representation on panels and new methods. Gain insight into regulatory trends and timings.
? Be flexible to perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
? PhD or MS with equivalent experience related to the development and validation solutions using inorganic testing techniques (AA or ICP).
? 3+ years of recent scientific experience in inorganic testing domain (AA or ICP)
? Hands on experience of AA or ICP and sample preparation.
? Ability to troubleshoot and work independently under pressure of deadlines as well as the desire to work in a fast paced, team environment
? Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
? Must be detail oriented, highly organized
? Ability to succeed in a global fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines

2020年3月，美国食品药品管理局（FDA）已为珀金埃尔默研发的新型冠状病毒核酸检测试剂盒（RT-PCR）批准了紧急使用授权（EUA）。同时，该新型冠状病毒核酸检测试剂盒作为一种体外诊断（IVD）设备，满足欧盟体外诊断试剂指令（IVDD）的要求，并获得欧盟市场的准入资格，且于4月被正式列入WHO应急使用清单（EUL，Emergency Use Listing）。
2020年8月国际著名期刊《Nature Biotechnology》发表了关于全球获批新冠病毒核酸检测试剂盒性能对比研究：珀金埃尔默研发的核酸检测试剂盒，以0.009copies/μL最低检测限（LoD）的显著优势排名全球***，为全球最灵敏新冠病毒核酸检测试剂盒。
