Key Responsibilities
EMR Support
Provide support (guidelines, advice etc) to the front line and other satellite EMR departments in issues/queries
related to: Dry container, reefer container, reefer machinery, gensets, RCM general, SOC (shipper owned
container), any type of damage (provide technical knowledge - IICL/MCIC/MRIC Standards) , repair shops
globally, balance situation (deficit/surplus). Guide EMR teams on end-to-end flow of repair/maintenance and
support the reefer parts warranty team in dealing with claims by giving advice and technical expertise when they
raise a claim or receive a rejection from a supplier
IN ORDER TO: sustain continued support for maintenance and repair of Equipment leading to seamless flow of
inventory in the fleet.
Compliance to frameworks
Inform and guide the Countries and Local OPS on the Policies with regards to CSC & EMR and ensure compliance
to the same. Keep the necessary audience informed of the changes to the Policies and Procedures as required.
IN ORDER TO: ensure compliance to the EMR Policies and frameworks.
Process Improvements
Play a global role in engaging with countries on behalf of EMR on new directions, SOPs, policies, best practice,
specific roll-outs, etc and when needed serve as focal point to get feedback from countries to be shared with
Centre. Share with Centre, the findings on recurring and /or unusual issues to be investigated/addressed
(including cannibalisation control). Participate in the projects/training as necessary (driven by Centre etc).
Contribute ing with improvement suggestions based on the day-to-day interactions with countries best practice to
be shared globally based on the day-to-day interactions with countries input to SOPs, policies and specifications
reviews
IN ORDER TO: sustain expected levels of performance & bring in improvements to ensure effective handling of
equipment.
PTI & OOS Support
Supervise the Duplicated PTIs, Cleaning and out of Service Process under the Equipment umbrella indirectly and
provide guidance & support to these process as and when required.
IN ORDER TO: ensure smooth functioning of these support processes.
PURPOSE:
This Position exists in order to provide overall support to the frontline and other satellite EMR Departments related
to Dry container,
reefer container, reefer machinery, gensets, RCM general, SOC (shipper owned container), any type of damage
(provide technical
knowledge IICL/MCIC/MRIC Standards) , repair shops globally, balance situation (deficit/surplus), by way of
providing timely
information and guidance to countries on CSC, EMR policy compliance & end-to-end flow of repair/maintenance.

Education:
Engineering / Technical qualification Preferred and IICL Certification
Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in the EMR Management on Shipping Line/Depot/Terminal/Port.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience under Technical Skills.
Business Understanding:
Good understanding of Shipping Operations Management and Frameworks.
Fair knowledge on how Port/Terminal/CFS/Empty depot operates and clarity on handover & takeover points.
Technical Knowledge:
High level overview of E2E Operations Process.
EMR policies and Equipment Repair Procedures (IICL, MCIC & MRIC Standards).
Basic knowledge on Reefer repairs as a Technician
Systems knowledge (for automation logics) would be an added advantage.
Expertise in Microsoft Office.
Behavioural Skills
