Responsible for all quality system and product quality related activities including in-house quality system establishment and maintenance, suppliers quality system audit, Customer quality complaints handling, In-house manufacturing process control and product quality improvement
Position Responsibilities:
· Manage & Supervise QA Department including AQMs, Customer QEs, Process QEs, Lab & IQC/OQC groups. Conduct regular periodic skills and competency analysis of the group and as necessary generate training & development plan
· Customer Quality Complaints Handling – Ensure that all Customer complaints are investigated & resolved in timely manner. Act as a liaison with other functions especially Sales and Customer Service and interface with other departments to assure customer complaints and concerns are addressed by Corrective Action response and products quality improvement. Perform regular customers visit to enhance customer relationship and customer satisfaction
· Ensure that Quality Management System (i.e. ISO 9001, TS 16949 & ISO 14,000) requirements are being met, facility-wide including external & internal audit findings are quickly resolved.
· Facility Scorecard Quality Metrics (Soft, Hard & COQ). Participate in monthly scorecard meeting. Conduct trend analysis and generate & implement strategic actions plans for improvement of all facility Quality metrics including Z1, Z2 and Z3 Quality notifications & COQ
· In house manufacturing quality control – Develop & Establish Control Plans for all manufacturing areas and for all part numbers. Ensure that control plan checks are done along with variable data recording or hard gauge checks
· Ensure that all new products coming from NPD is meeting all Customer Quality Requirements. As necessary interface with NPD and other departments and resolve and discrepancies.
Requirements
Mechanical Engineering degree
Technical experience is preferred
8 years of quality working experience with manufacturing company
Good knowledge of manufacturing process quality control and system set up
Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
Good interpersonal skill and candid personality
