Bookmark Content & Communications is the global content and communications company, with extensive experience in engaging consumers through memorable stories and content experiences for clients across business, lifestyle, luxury, travel, retail, etc.

We are looking for a Content Executive, based in Shanghai, to work on a high-profile, bilingual email and news site for a world-leading advertising company. The website houses industry news, case studies and exclusive brand insights for advertising and marketing professionals in China and around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is looking to develop quickly within the exciting, modern global industry – advertising. Successful delivery of the project – that includes accurate writing, proposing good ideas, working well with the team and client – will lead to promotion.

The Role:
? Writing, editing and translating copy in both Chinese and English
? Researching and pitching feature ideas, finding potential contributors
? Keeping a close eye on advertising trends
? Turning complex tech-talk into digestible and captivating material for the reader
? Working closely with the (local) account manager plus a dynamic team of Shanghai and London-based editors.
? Finding the balance between sticking to brand guidelines, and pushing the creative boundaries
? Supporting the creative and digital teams during the launch of social media platforms
? Producing content presentations
? Subbing, proofing and fact-checking articles
? Uploading and publishing content via the site’s content management system
? Analysing website and email performance and produce reports for reviews
? Training will be offered

Requirements:
? Excellent writing and speaking skills in Chinese and English
? A keen eye for proofreading
? A good knowledge of all things digital, including social media, etc.
? A relevant degree (but not limited to) English, journalism, PR, TESL
? Postgraduate preferred (but not essential)
? Intern experience in advertising, marketing or the business publishing sector, as well as interest in advertising would be a plus
? Proactive, creative, organized, with an ability to work to tight deadlines
