Position Summary:
As team member on the BI team, deliver a reporting environment using MicroStrategy tool. Act as developer, responsible for developing metrics, attributes, hierarchies, performing user and group maintenance, security and monitoring system performance. Must have a good understanding of BI implementations as well as possess good data analysis, and SQL skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with on-site team members, and project team members to develop and implement business analytics capabilities using MicroStrategy
• Perform data analysis, to obtain a good understanding of source system data flow and data model
• Develop and maintain the company's BI projects, reports, documents, dashboards, cubes, and scorecards to improve analytics capabilities
• Work with Database Administrators and ETL developers to create metrics as required for reporting, and migrate applications into development, test and production environments
• Create and/or perform peer review of BI reports to ensure that all reports conform to standards and guidelines
• Create and execute test plans and test scripts for unit and system testing of BI reports, based upon requirements specifications
• Maintain standards pursuant to the BI project architecture, report documents, dashboards, and other reporting development practices

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related IT field
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Strong SQL Skills
• Data Modeling experience
• Experience with other BI tools, such as Cognos
• Experience with MicroStrategy Report Development is a plus
• 1-3y BI experience preferred
