Title: Manager, FMO Client Coverage
Department: Information Technology and Operations

Scope of Role:
? To execute the defined processes and products to meet business performance standards.
? To escalate all exceptions and follow through till satisfactory resolution.
? To provide necessary hands on support and insight to continuously improve processes and increase productivity without compromising integrity.
Key Responsibilities/Challenges:
? 1. Services Delivery and Transaction Control:
? Execute and complete day-to-day operations within the regional financial market agency framework
? Execute and monitor workflow to ensure that processing/documentation is delivered in accordance with required standards.
? Working closely with the Front Office incorporating Derivatives Trading and Structuring desk and get agency deal validated on time. Meanwhile, to identify and rectify booking discrepancies on the same day
? Ensure that deal bookings that cross multiple systems are correct on trade date
? Network internally with colleagues, hub operations colleagues and customers to solve issues and improve efficiency.
? Escalate exceptional request to supervisors for decision and resolution.
? Any ad-hoc project assignments as directed by managers.
? 2. Risk and Control
? Operate within the risk and control framework.
? Ensures adherence to country and global operating policies in area of responsibility, maintaining conformance and consistency of provision.
? Escalate risk issues for immediate resolution and closure.
? 3. Team Development
? 3.1 Coach and Engagement
? Lead and coach fellow colleagues through effective communication/coaching to ensure compliance to procedures and processes.
? Motivate fellow colleagues to ensure a high morale and positive attitude in the organization
? Be a great team worker and contribute to a achieving a great place to work
? 3.2 People Development
? Ensure the continuous self development as per agreed ILDP.
? Be instrumental in a team of operations professionals and generate talents
? Work as a team and train fellow team mates
? 3.3 Capacity and Capability
? Ensure proper duty segregation and assignment in the team, including backup plans for all roles
? Plan, manage and build the resources within the organization to meet and exceed service standards
? 3.4 Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.
Selection Criteria:
? Background Education Graduates/Post Graduates
? Experience ? 5+ years experience in Financial Market Operations roles
? Some previous banking experience preferable
? Certificate (if applies)
? Professional Skills ? Strong analytical skills and project management skills
? Good knowledge of Financial Market Operations delivery strategy and objectives, with its related support operations
? General Management (optional)
? Soft Skills ? Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
? Good team management skills
? Good time-management skill
? Able to motive, develop and coach the team members to enhance their overall ability in both hard and soft skill
? Strong problem solving skills
? Other Preference
? Energetic and able to withstand heavy workload and frequent travel
? Independent and self-motivated
