Key Responsibilities:
? PRTP and Continuous Improvement
Provides technical and operational leadership to the Procurement Team who provide a variety of related services:
- Supports the Procurement Supervisor in managing the process teams and gain alignment with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (CSSP) objectives;
- Focus on developing a continuous improvement plan by identifying opportunities for process improvement for processes being supported and implement the opportunities in collaboration with Business Services continuous improvement lead;
- Apply six sigma/lean management principles to operations, process improvement with demonstrated results delivery;
- Ensure the procurement processes are adhering to the CSSP Procurement Policy, Internal Risks/Controls, Fraud Prevention guidelines and adheres to applicable laws, rules, and regulations; monitor compliance with these areas;
- Ensuring efficient operations and coordination with internal and/or external stakeholders; develop, implement and recommend process improvements;
- Focus on utilizing a collaborative approach, developing relationships with various stakeholders, quickly developing credibility for the department and buy-in across business units;
? People Management and Talent Management
- Ensuring internal resources levels are appropriate to meet quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness of work associated with assigned responsibilities;
- Effectively prioritizing work assignments and allocating resources while meeting stakeholder expectations, establishing and adjusting priorities;
- Providing leadership through evaluation and development/coaching/mentoring and motivation of assigned direct reports;
- Supervise staff for the process teams to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary;
- Provides and documents performance feedback through side-by-side coaching, performance reviews, goal setting;
- With guidance from CSSP Centre Lead and supervisors, appropriately address human resources issues, such as attendance and interpersonal conflicts in the workplace;
- Ensure the procurement team adheres to the CSSP Procurement Policy, Internal Risks/Controls, and Fraud Prevention guidelines and adheres to applicable laws, rules, and regulations; monitor compliance with these areas;
? Reporting and Metrics
- Report on performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with business units;
- Report on Key Performance Indicators for the centre;
- Monitor and report on opportunities where non-conformance against contracts, process, purchasing policy is caused due to inefficient BU or functions and/or Vendor processes or practices;
- Escalate to contract owners and manager where strategic vendors cause additional rework of PRTP processes and provide solutions to mitigate in future;
- Utilizes reporting to manage improvements in individual, team and processes;
? Leadership
- Be a leader or member of a team identifying, targeting and delivering value;
- Manages change through effective communication and support of change;
- Accepts change by demonstrating a positive attitude when change occurs;
- Supports the CBS centre by participating in cross-functional meetings to give input on improvement opportunities;
- Supports and communicates business goals, quality standards, processes and procedures and policies.
Key Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or Science, or equivalent education and experience;
? 6+ years relevant experience with increasing responsibility; 2+ years of supervisory experience;
? Six sigma or lean certifications and a few years of experience implementing the principles;
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SAP ECC, Ariba or other PRTP Cloud solutions;
? Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills in English.
