I. Job Summary
A person in this position will be a part of and will provide support to the WWEC Team. This team is multi-functional (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, and Maintenance) and manages the execution of large capital projects in Asia Pacific. This Business Support Specialist role includes general administrative and business support tasks normally associated with operating a business office.
II. Specific Job Responsibilities
A. Assist the team in daily functions such as travel planning, coordinating meetings, arranging visitor logistics, etc.
B. Provide general support for the WWEC team reporting requirements, weekly and monthly. This mainly consists of receiving comments and input from team members and assembling them in a single document for review and editing prior to publishing.
C. Responsible for organizing and managing the team SharePoint sites ; Maintain and update any changes;
D. Assist with translation needs, both written and spoken. The translations are not legally binding translations, but for general understanding.
E. Review expense statements for accuracy.
F. Provide minimal document control services including but not limited to
? maintaining records of document removal from the secured area by contractors or Eastman personnel,
? maintaining records of official communications between the contractor and client
? maintaining meeting minutes if requested.
? Printing documents as requested
G. Handle all administrative duties, including miscellaneous requests from the several expatriates on the team.
III. Personal Qualifications/Requirements
A. Experience/Job Knowledge/Expertise - The candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience.
B. Teamwork - Team work spirit is one of the most important factors-. All of our projects are team centered. A good team worker should be open-minded, non-selfish, insightful and candid.
C. Initiative – The candidate must have strong initiative and creativity to support the teams constantly changing needs (travel, visitor coordination, meeting logistics, documentation). .
D. Coordination – The person should have good coordination skills and be able to coordinate regional events for the engineering and construction teams. This includes coordination of team and conference room schedules, travel, meetings, and visitors. .
E. Communication Skills – Good communication skills in speaking and writing is necessary
F. Computer Skills – The person should be very familiar with basic applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. He/she is required to pull monthly project cost data from SAP and Cognos.
G. Language Skills – Excellent English capability both in verbal and writing is necessary.

- Bachelor Degree or above, with excellent written communication skills.
- Have 3-5 years work experience preferably in a multi-national company.
- A good team worker should be open-minded, non-selfish, insightful and candid.
- The person should have good coordination skills and be able to coordinate regional events both for individual projects, and for the team as a whole.
- Good communication skills in speaking and writing are necessary.
- The person should be very familiar with basic applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Language Skills – Excellent English capability both in verbal and writing is necessary.
