Job Description:
? Centralized introduction of complex mechatronic assemblies, suppliers, technologies and manufacturing processes with focus on preventive involvement already during development phase
? Functional responsibility for the defined parts and suppliers worldwide within the Category
? Implementation of a non-failure strategy
? Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for complex mechatronic assemblies (Make or Buy, SCR, Feasibility Commitment, APQP, Project Reviews, Run & Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.) to ensure that the products meet the defined quality requirements
? Plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make / market phase for mechatronic assemblies
? Responsibility to drive QBIC and Supplier Improvement Programs within the Category
? Preparation and perfoming management meeting with suppliers
? Performing supplier visits, meetings and VDA6.3 audits (incl. introduction of new suppliers, locations and technologies)
? Support for escalation topics (e.g. Red Alerts)
? Evaluation and ranking of the suppliers in terms of performances within Category
? Negotiation of quality contracts
Desired Qualifications:
? Extensive know-how in APQP and overmolded plastic assemblies (e.g. incl. bondable surfaces, pressfit pins, electronic components)
? Auditor training, VDA 6.3 and ISO/TS knowledge
? Quality skills (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa)
? Analytic approach, self assured, ability to work under pressure, ability to convince others, result orientation, decision making ability, willingness to take responsibility, team spirit, negotiation skills, high willingness to travel worldwide
