Job Title:Assistant Manager, IT Business Analysis
Job Purpose:
The role works with business partners within one or more business functions to align technology solutions with business needs. Supports several moderately complex business processes. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of a business area to identify, analyze and resolve problems on an ongoing basis. Serves as a project team member or subject matter expert. Directly interfaces with business leadership (Directors/Sr. Directors) to clarify business needs, priorities, and strategies possibly with manager’s support.
Scope:
Lead or SME of IT project
Support IT application operation like SAP, system interface, POS, Retail solution and etc.
Key Responsibilities:
STRATEGY:
? Can do the collection, analysis, supporting the IT Application strategies for multiple functional business areas.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:
? Act as a liaison and partner between IT and multiple functional business areas, providing subject matter expertise…
? Collaborates the evaluation, recommendation, business readiness and implementation of best practice software technology solutions.
OPERATIONS/DELIVERY:
? Support business partner to analyze business case and requirement
? Develops test cases and participates (validating test cases) during testing – with a focus on UAT
? Supports assessing risks relative to the readiness of the business to adopt the solution
? Supports/analyze application or solution operation problem
TALENT:
? Acts as a mentor and manages other engineers
? May lead engineer team from vendor
VENDOR MANAGEMENT:
? Work effectively with teams of external partners developing & supporting domain area
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of below system:
? ERP: SAP
? Database: MS SQL, MYSQL, SAP HANA
? Business system: common SAP interface, middleware,
? Retail solution like Raymark POS, Merch planning and etc.
Leadership Expectations:
Lead engineer team from vendor or internal team
Experience/Education:
? Typically requires 5-7 years of technical experience.
? Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
? Requires working knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes.
? Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology\Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
? Proven skill developing project proposal and
? business cases in support of system initiatives
? Excellent collaboration skills, including experience planning and running IT sessions.
