Position Description:
The candidate will be a member of the Software (SW) test team to test in-vehicle Multimedia Navigation systems, especially to test the Navigation related function. The test will be executed in both lab and in-vehicle environments. Some of the in-vehicle testing will be conducted out of Shanghai.
The tasks include:
1. Review SW requirements
2. Develop and review test cases
3. Execute test and submit defects into the issue report system
4. Communicate the test results the team
Requirements:
BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering, GIS, or Engineering disciplines
Working experience in testing in-vehicle navigation system such as Head Unit is preferred. Experience in testing Navigation SW on smart phones or PND is OK.
Understand the principles of software and system testing
Understand the principles of Navigation SW and Map data
Good verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese
Be self motivated, structured, attentive to detail, and organized
Have a driver license
Male is preferred due to the requirements of conducting in-vehicle test out of Shanghai
