Job Description:
Solution Engineering
? Develops a cost model as a basis for quotations
? Analyzes different storage and handling techniques to identify the optimal solution
? Designs floor layout and material flow concepts
? Develops process flowcharts and SOP as a basis for project implementations and IT programming
? Assists to co-ordinate the compilation of complex logistics proposals
? Supports project implementations as member of the implementation team
? Co-ordinate with Regional & Corporate solution team to bring the new solution to China

Project Planning & Management
? Development and management of project plans
? Co-ordination with customer, operations, IT and other relevant parties
? Develop and design material and layout concepts
? Implementation budget controlling
? Proper documentation of project plans and operating procedures
? Resource acquisition

Training and development
? Training of operational staff on new processes and best practices
? Ongoing continuous development of the CTI program by identifying and employing best practices
? Development of new tools and reports for project management

Post Implementation Support
? SOP monitoring
? Conducting regular review meetings
? Continuous improvement support and development for production service line and

Operation Management
? Develop clear strategy for operational platform and ensure same is aligned with Dachser RHO CL and NCN CL overall business strategy.
? Responsible for operational requirements and executing when all CL dept of branches are implemented and assist the project team in all matters regarding operation.
? Develop and implement reporting and control tools & systems for all CL dept of branches in NCN which is including defining and fulfillment the standard operation report process in NCN and regularly submit the standard operation report of warehouse business to General Manager contract logistics North China, it's including billing & payment, KPIs of customer & subcontractor, project p & l estimation and analysis, team performance measurement and productivity, safety operation rule setup and fulfillment etc.
? Ensure operational objectives are transferred to all levels of CL dept branches in NCN.
? Regular operation review with all branches warehouse operation team.
? Regular review communication / work flow practices between NCN CL and branches, in order to optimize synergies and share best practice.
? Drive constant improvement of productivity, cost base & reduction and customer service in warehouse operation dept of CL branches.
? Initiate and create innovative ideas; and participate with CL business development on relevant projects.
? Develop operation workshop, including presentations and cases studies, to be used for best practice sharing and business development application.
? Ensure operation is ready for expansion and growth in line with overall NCN CL business strategy.
? Conduct operations audit of CL dept NCN.
? Provide support to other business units as required.



Professional experience:
? Operations background in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, with over 5 years project management experience and 3 years team management experience. More than 10 years working experience
? Production logistics experience is a plus

Requirements:
? Fluent in English.
? Ability to provide clear direction to operations support staff to gather necessary data and implement the right solution.
? Good analytical skills to translate and understand complex business processes and the ability to transform these into operational concepts
? Very good communication and organizational skills.
? Team-Player with close contact to the local Logistics Management and IT Super-User
? Used to work fluently with the current MS Office Professional package, knowledge of MS Project preferred
? Well mannered.
