DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for database administration of large scale Operational

- Maintain the integrity of data including the execution of proper backup and restoration policies and procedures which provide point-in-time restore capabilities (disaster recovery)

- Optimize Oracle resource utilization by tuning queries

- Provide data migration support

- Lead, mentor and/or provide guidance to less experienced database analysts where applicable including guidance for troubleshooting escalated issues

- Provide on call rotational 24/7 Incident Response to database alerts from monitoring tools and Command Center personnel

- Provide the implementation of Oracle administration and monitoring tools to improve availability and performance

- Perform database capacity planning and trend analysis

- Deploy database changes in strict accordance with change management policies and procedures

- Interact and coordinate work with System Administrators, Project Managers and fellow team members to support various requests

- Oracle for SAP management experience is plus.

Requirement:

- Minimum 5 years of heavy Oracle database administration experience.

- Prefer Oracle database certification

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle utilities and tools.

- Database related storage skill and experience, foundation OS (Unix) skill.

- Candidate must have excellent communication skills

- Fluent English and Chinese.
