Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Development and support of embedded software components on Linux-based residential networking products and home gateway devices.
- Integration of third-party and proprietary embedded software as well as design, implementation, debug, test, regression test, and maintenance activities in the areas of data service and home gateway protocol.
- Document interface specifications and unit level test plans as well as participate in the preparation or review of specifications.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of embedded programming experience
- BSCS/BSEE or similar degree required. MS Degree preferred.
- Rich Experience with MIPS/PowerPC/ARM/x86 processors and BRCM/Marvell/Realtek/MTK PON chipsets and SDK.
- Knowledge and understanding of GCC compiler and/or binutils components of a GNU tool-chain
- Familiarity with embedded tools such as busybox, Yocto, buildroot and etc.
- Strong software debugging and troubleshooting skills on embedded real time operating systems with emphasis on performance, optimizations, core dump analysis
- Experience in multi-threading, multi-core, and real-time high availability embedded systems is a plus
- Strong problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate
- Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
- Must work well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and integration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
