POSITION SUMMARY
 
 
Purpose
 
The position is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of processes across the organization and in all Supply Chain functions. This position applies troubleshooting and root cause corrective action skills to define, manage and execute project initiatives and deliver improvements to key supply chain processes for simplicity, efficiency, waste reduction, avoidance of cost of non-conformances and SOX compliance.
 
Nature and Scope
 
This particular role requires the need for experience and in-depth understanding of Liquid Bulk, Microbulk supply chain processes, particular in tactical planning, logistics and scheduling functions as well as Packaged Gas supply chain end-to-end processes. The incumbent should possess and an understanding of the intricacies of the relationship of multiple supply chain function parameters, and KPIs in order to lead the division’s process and tool improvement initiatives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
 
?Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project team by partnering across multiple functions or businesses
?Plans, performs and implements complex continuous improvement initiatives to new and existing processes.
?Collects data to identify root cause of problems, measures performance against process requirements and aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
?Leverage functionality of the available data systems, including SAP, LB Shell, Quest, the Management Reporting System and other available data sources to drive low cost operations and process improvement.
?Link and coordinate process improvement and planning work with Global and other Asian counterparts to ensure consistent process convergence and best practice sharing where appropriate.
?Partners with the IT organization (when necessary) to understand, analyze, and make recommendations to ensure information systems are properly supporting business processes.
?Delivers presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
?Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement and identifies indicators for future improvement opportunities.
?Researches, surveys, and analyzes best practices for new techniques and processes to improve business performance.
?Collaborate with business reps / process owners to develop and agree on Business Requirements for Projects implementation.
?Promotes and influences others regarding the importance of meeting customer, statutory, regulatory and safety requirements within the areas of responsibility.
?Ensure new processes are documented, business ownership with associated change management defined for roll out to business community before project ‘Live’ implementation.

?Develops project plans and manages activities against their deadlines
?Utilizes influencing, presenting, and training skills in leading improvement efforts
?Engages project team members through consistent and shared accountability
?Manages scope and report out on project team progress
?Forward planning and close monitoring of project progress on track and mitigation actions to avoid late surprises for project deliverables misses.
?Performs cost and benefit analyses
?the command of the information residing in the LB Shell database (the primary data warehouse for distribution trip-level information), SAP, EPR
?

CI Training & Coaching
 
?Provide training for WB, YB and GB (only by certified CIBB with more than 3-year experience)
?Provide project coaching
Basic Qualifications
 
?Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or chemical engineering
?Minimum of 3 years’ experience with process improvement work or productivity projects
?Demonstrated analytical, research, and reporting skills; good data mining skills
?Demonstrated experience with process improvement and project management methodologies
?Self-starter, passionate and possessing high energy to drive change
?Disciplined, structured and logical approach to problem solving
?Strong project management skills, proven record of delivery against deadlines
?Proven record of delivery against deadlines
?Strong Supply Chain knowledge
?Experience with CI or other Optimization work
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
?Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
?Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, or similar
?Experience working with complex teams in a global environment
