职位描述：
SHOULD COST ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL
Required competences:
1.Electrical design – at least B.Sc. level required, familiar about the electrical technologies (understand functions of electrical components) and design process
2.Electrical manufacturing processes and methods – good understanding
3.Cost accounting – ability to understand product cost accounting concepts (ABC costing, etc.)
4.IT skills – good track record in fast learning of new tools & applications

Characteristics:
1.Analytic – at ease with big amounts of data to be tackled and analyzed
2.Challenger attitude – needs to be willing to question all the assumptions,
3.Presentation skills – capability and confidence in presenting the cases to management, suppliers, etc.
4.Business understanding - ability to understand “big picture”, and interdependencies of decisions

Key responsibilities:
Performing Should Cost Analysis (SCA) for electrical components (in elevator & escalator electrification and signalization, incl. PCBAs), including following tasks:
1.Gathering all basic information required from different stakeholders
2.Volume distribution analysis of products to be analyzed
3.Supplier manufacturing process analysis and time studies (when required)
4.Checking the supplier quotation content vs the drawings and BOM
5.Making a SCA for a product using the tools developed
6.Presenting the results of SCA to case participants from sourcing, product design, etc. and to suppliers
7.Participating in:
？ Design comparisons for new concepts and product designs
？ Supplier price target setting & supplier collaboration
？ Competitor product / internal benchmarking
？ Custom-engineered product cost estimations
？ Make or buy analysis
？ Identification and validation of product cost saving actions
？ Development of KONE processes, methods and tools related to SCA
