职位描述
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
1.Product Management
(1)Understand market requirements, making a business case for new product development projects
(2)Develop a functional specification and development strategy for new products.
(3)Support product development group in their technology research and analysis. Understand and communicate relevant market position data, detailed market segment information and market penetration strategy to business leaders.
(4)Establish forecasts, maintain KPI information, and perform ongoing analysis for assigned products.
(5)Support marketing team regarding brand strategy.
(6)Work with the sales force to establish presence in target markets.
(7)Establish list pricing, setting cost targets, and determining initial business levels.
(8)Support marketing communications team to develop communication programs including advertising, catalogs / brochures, training seminars, press communications, distributor programs, and trade shows.
(9)Manage product life cycles / transitions including development, launch, prime sell, harvest, and obsolescence of product.
2.Marketing
(1)Collect, analyze, and report on regional market information, competitive information, and market intelligence.
(2)Evaluate and track the impact of global technology trends and external drivers on customer needs, market conditions, customer business plans and objectives, customers' expectations, buying behaviors, and pricing.
(3)Work with global marketing and product planning team to perform comprehensive analysis of vertical markets in region.
(4)Identify product specifications to generate the development of global product platforms and region specific product needs.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1.Bachelor degree in Engineering or other related technical discipline
2.MBA or similar desirable
3.Strong interpersonal and good verbal/written communication skills are necessary
4.Reporting and presentation capabilities
5.Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, segmentation, data mining and analysis skills
6.Extensive knowledge of how to analyze markets, technologies and business opportunities using Excel, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
7.Knowledge of servo controls systems is desired
8.Project management skills
9.Global experience is a plus
10.Fluency in English and Chinese is desired
