What We Need
Sales Enablement is responsible for the Sales Platform and supporting the entire sales organization at Merkle. Enhancing our data quality is a key aspect in our ability to continue our fast growth and scale towards becoming a $1B+ company.
The Data Quality Sr. Analyst will understand processes and policies that impact our data quality and work to ensure our instance of Salesforce.com is maintained with up to date and accurate information. This individual must excel in data analysis, process improvement, building relationships in business and IT functions, problem solving, and communication. S/he must act with limited supervision and demonstrate the ability to be successful in an unstructured, team-oriented environment.
The Sr. Analyst will understand the impact and value of data quality across the entire sales platform. Our ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce.com administration, possess expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, and be a highly detail-oriented perfectionist, a relentless problem solver, and excellent communicator.
Responsibilities
o Validate Opportunity Close Dates with accurate Contract Execution Date (Statement of Work Signature Date) obtained from Legal Request records
o Update Contract Start and Contract End dates per unique Opportunity/Statement of Work for each Account
o Ensure data integrity and alignment of business rules dictating Opportunity Subtypes (New Logo, Cross Sell, Renewal, Change Order, Amendment) based on Contract dates obtained from Legal Requests and updated on Accounts
o Ensure data integrity of Opportunity Parent/Child relationships
o Validate fully completed Opportunity Qualification Checklists
o Update Salesforce.com Accounts and Opportunities with information related to Business Development Hours / Time Spent on Opportunity Management
o Support the Sales Platform’s post-sales activities:
o Win/Loss Review information gathering, meeting preparations, and communications
o Missing data completion / intelligence capture / notes / learnings
Required Skills / Experience
o Bachelor’s degree required
o 2-4 years of business / process / data analysis experience
o Experience in defining data quality metrics and performing data quality analysis
o Strong understanding of data management, data governance and data quality concepts
o Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
o Sound business judgment
o Demonstrated self-starter
o Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail
Desired Skills / Experience
o Certified Salesforce Administrator
o Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant
o Certified Salesforce Developer
o Salesforce object model & SOQL experience
o Ability to tell compelling stories and explain complex issues in simple ways using Sales-related pipeline data
