Walter in Wuxi is seeking for an OEM Manager
Walter offers a comprehensive range of innovative tool solutions for turning, drilling, milling and threading operations, as well as multilevel service programs. Walter has a total of around 3,800 employees and around 50 subsidiaries and distribution partners worldwide.
The five competence brands of Walter, Walter Titex, Walter Prototyp, Walter Valenite and Walter Multiply, are united under one company umbrella. With a product range of around 49,000 catalogue tools for milling, drilling, turning and threading, Walter is a complete service provider for the metalworking industry. Specialists working in the relevant competence brands jointly develop integrated processing solutions for machining. Here their comprehensive expertise in the automotive sector, the aerospace industry, energy, rail transport and general mechanical engineering stands them in good stead.
The position would directly report to Engineering Manager, below please refer to the job description:
Job Purpose:
? OEM process owner;
? OEM sales budget;
? Leverage Walter brand;
? Team management;
? OEM FSE and OEM project coordinator coaching;
? Strategy development & implementation;
? Communication with HQ and other WSC.
Key performance area:
? Good relationship management.
? Get all information concerning the project.
? Answer questions.
? Presentation of the offer.
? Sales negotiation.
? Internal communication (WSC and HQ).
? Competent key contact for customers.
? Technical project support and processing.
? Technical consultancy.
? Act as multi-brand-sales.
? Representative on WTP.

Your profile:
? Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent theoretical and practical experience
? At least 5 years sales and application experience in tool / machine tools or similar industries
? Excellent communication skills
? Mandarin in order to communicate both ways: spoken and written
? English in order to communicate both ways: spoken and written
? Naturally & balanced personality
? Success & result orientated personality
? International mobility for introduction and training programs, customer visits and machine tool / tool acceptances
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
