职位描述：
Objectives of Position:
This position will be responsible for the management of purchase order planning, delivery and replenishment, managing Group logistics providers and freight forwarders:
1) Must understand US factory’s processes, requirements, and needs.
2) Help communicate MRP requirements to suppliers.
3) Help communicate logistic requirements, such as Freight, 3PL, Safety Stocks, etc. to suppliers.
4) Help phase in and phase out.
5) Help explain US factory business s practices and needs to suppliers.
6) Stop unnecessary supplier contact involving payment, inventory, or revenue.
7) Help push for timely answers.
8) Help with quality issues including g RMA’s, recovery, scrap, etc.
9) Support/drive suppliers during US factory “off” hours.
10) Teach US factory personnel improved methods of communicating with offshore suppliers.
11) Act as logistics project analyst, design, implement and control logistics related projects.



Skill Requirements
Professional
? BA or equivalent regional university degree criteria required with MBA preferred;other graduate degree potentially acceptable
? Asia specific sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain experience with demonstrated results
? Successful, multi-year track record in a procurement organization
? Experience working with US multinational companies a must
? Experience working in a logistics team or with freight forwarder(s) is welcome

Technical
? Good planning/project management skills – able to develop comprehensive workable issue sets in complex situations
? Exceptional negotiating skills
? Experience working with and as part of cross functional teams highly desirable
? Familiarity with ERP solutions (e.g. SAP)
? Strong problem-solving and analytical skills – able to construct/execute multiple complex analyses (e.g TCO, NPV; cost-price analyses) simultaneously
? Quick study – able to gain a fact based understanding of current supplier base, supplier economics and major trends in relevant markets
? Superior communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
? Advanced Excel & PPT skills; good at presentation

? Distinctive leadership – willing to make tough/unpopular decisions, but well respected by internal and external business leaders

? Able to work in a dual reporting matrix environment and aggressively take the lead on implementation of savings opportunities that affect numerous lines of business
? Must be fluent in Mandarin and English - good oral and writing English skills a must.
