Job Functions:
1.Send release notice to POD and other parties concerned, including telex release, issue B/L at third place, switch B/L and release against bank guarantee.
2.Proper MA application according to SOP
3.COD according to customer requirement
4.Customer code maintenance:
a). create new customer code in system;
b). update and complete customer profile in system
c). ensure no duplicate customer code in system.
5. To follow up customers’ loading/shipping plan and coordinate with other departments to offer
solutions to customer issues/needs.
6. To handle customer queries and complaints on booking/DOC stage.
7. To answer all incoming calls promptly.
8. Check out email and reply it timely.
9. To send latest shipping schedules and notifications to customers.
10. To assist sales team in applying ad-hoc space with HQ as and when required (as per SOP).
11. Confirm the B/L details for DG cargo/tobacco shipments in order to apply the license with HKG Customs 24 hours before vessel departure (if any).
12. Job orientation and training for new staff.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent level, in shipping/transportation/marketing major is preferred.
2. Good English communication skills with both fluent in written.
3. Good knowledge of Office Software, skillful in Word and Excel.
4. Minimum 5 years’ experience in shipping field..
5. Good interpersonal and communication skill.
6. Strong good team work spirit.
7. Outstanding and can work under pressure.
