POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will design and implement DeepSee Business Intelligence (BI) reports for end users
As well as develop operations reports using Hospital Information System (HIS) inbuilt reporting tool
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
Work with end user departments to collect reporting requirement. This include but not limited to Laboratory, Radiology, Nursing and Medical team.
Understand the DeepSee BI application as well as the HIS inbuilt reporting tool thoroughly in order to analyze and develop the reporting requirement. Work closely software providers when needed.
Debugging and troubleshooting when user report issues and resolve problem when possible. Work with software provider to resolve complex issues when necessary.
Identifies critical areas of the data structure and recommends improvements to existing reports and reporting processes.
Documents data systems, processes, and technical Metadata.
Provide training and assistance to users on current reports available.
Perform trouble shooting tasks.
Participate in BI and HIS system upgrade plan with department and hospital operations and support go live when necessary.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in computer science or medical informatics field.
Data analysis and report development experience is a must.
Intersystem Deepsee working experience is desirable.
Good understanding of SQL joins and databases.
Hospital/Clinic work experience is desirable.
Software system implementation experience is a plus.
Must be keen in using software, including MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, attend to detail and communicate with people effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
         Proficiency with Microsoft Project or Mac OmniPlan would be helpful.
Must be able to read, write and understand both Chinese and English.

EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE:
Proficient in computer programs utilized which include but not limited to Windows, MS Office.
