Job Responsibility

1. Design and improve educational, clinical and industrial compound microscopes focusing on electronic area. The task includes PCBA design, firmware design, product documentation and archiving such as BOM, SAP Masterdata and performance verification.
2 .Create and maintain design history file.
3. Lead design transfers to the supplier, verify electronic design with supplier to ensure long term availability of used components and compliance with manufacturing process of supplier.
4. Provide technical support during mass production of electronic parts, such as root cause analysis, define and implement corrective actions for problem solving in collaboration with supplier and redesign electronics due to end of life of components.
5 .Define testing acceptance criterias (TAC) and equipment for mass production.
6. Lead verification tests and performance improvement in order to comply with applicable international standards (e.g. UL61010-1, GB4793.1, EN61326, etc.)

Job Requirement

Education/Experience:
-Education background: Bachelor degree in electronic engineering or higher.
-Job experience: More than 3 years hands on experience in electronic design focusing on illumination control. Photo electricity?
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
-Rich experience in board level design (schematic and PCB layout). Strong knowledge in design to manufacture, design to cost and DFT (?)
-Experience about market availability of typically needed components and manufacturing process
-Basic knowledge for UL//CE/EN/ISO/EMC cerification
-Solid experience in 8bit/32bit MCU PCBA and firmware design to achieve performance requirement in specification
-Basic knowledge in optical and photo electricity? Be familiar with semiconductor illumination and LED application
-Computer skills: Microsoft Office, PCBA design software with Altium Designer or related EDA tools, firmware development EDA with C/C++.
-Work in international team and willingness to travel is a must
-Team worker with Can-do attitude
-Good communication skills in written and spoken English or German
