Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
1. Prepare portions of contract proposal estimates for one or more disciplines, including the determination of applicable project plans and specifications.
2. Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
3. Prepare discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
4. Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, etc.
5. Travel required.
