Key Responsibilities:
- To supervise supplier testing.
- To develop component level testing.
- To get Lab ISO certified.
- To develop a proper documentation process of testing for new products, reliability testing for wheel goods and car seats.
- To fine - tune existing reporting system and methodology for distribution on SharePoint / server.
- To set up a world class test lab.
- Maintenance – we need an OEE measure for lab equipment and a robust maintenance schedule to maximize up time (80-85%).
- Responsible for equipment and capacity planning - closely work with supply chain and new product development team to ensure project completion and on time shipment with certified testing.
- Set up clear internal test procedures and documentation.
- To advise regions / new product development team of issues in a clear and timely manner.
- Take ownership of external testing procedures, key relationship with external labs to ensure company has key access as preferential customer (SGS / ITS).
- Lab resource management - ensure we have in-depth standard knowledge for the regions we are operating in utilize time of lab employees between tests / education.
- Timely reporting to stakeholders.
- To develop a "real life" testing from our existing system, should well understand the correlation between development, regulatory and reliability testing, cost and benefit analysis of our existing testing to develop future state.
- Communication - to manage the expectation of the regions, to well communicate with SGS / ITS / suppliers and internal departments (HK Supply Chain, WG NPD, regions, as well as management reporting).
Requirements:
- Native English and good Putonghua.
- University Degree.
- At least 5 years or above experience in product marketing and management with strong commercial sense.
- At least 2 years of experience in MNCs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills.
- Capable of working in a dynamic working environment.
- Energetic, proactive, autonomous and self - motivated.
- Experience in toys, kids products or consumer goods industries will be highly preferred.
