Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The CD/D Segment Program Management Analyst will work with the CD/D Segment Program Management Supervisor to manage/coordinate the CD/D Vehicle Line Business for the APA markets. Key responsibilities include:
· Assist in development of plans and strategies to drive Product Development and cross-functional teams to deliver vehicle programs utilising GPDS processes and procedures.
· Support the program timing plan (VPP). Coordinate the development of workplans from project teams and review plan consistency, containability and compatibility with program objectives.
· Support the LEA on Program Direction (PDL's and TIB's), engineering content, design, colour and trim. Ensure new functions or features are well investigated prior to being added to the program and that after approved, the correct communication processes are used to ensure the whole team understands the change to program actions.
· Support the LEA with Program administration / metrics reporting / Management review cadence in line with Global and APA Guidelines, e.g. gateway look-ahead, health chart, integrator, AVBOM, CPA tracker, change management process.
· Liaise with LEA to ensure local market needs are met and engineering sign-off plans are in place and robust. Leverage APA LHS engineering structure for expertise/advice where required on APA market conditions/LMRs.
· Coordinate Program meetings and cross-functional communication, ensuring adequate support. Develop and maintain secure web systems to use in cascading program information to different organisations as appropriate.
Experience and Background Skills Desired:
· An appreciation of and interest in the complexities of program delivery across multiple regions with multiple launch locations. The candidate should be aware of, and interested in the cultural and language barriers, diversity of skills and practical / physical challenges which come with working in developing markets.
· A thorough understanding of the Global Product Development System (GPDS) and Program Management processes through demonstrated experience.
· Proven experience in one or more of the following: Program Management, Project (D&R) Engineering, Product Planning, PD Launch and/or Marketing roles.
· Desired leadership behaviors including Business Acumen, Drive for Results, Innovation and Technical Excellence. Candidate should also possess strong influencing skills.
· Flexibility with work hours due to the time differences between markets.
· Previous APA experience preferable.
· High integrity with good attitude and excellent communication skills.
· Engineering Degree or Business Degree preferred
