Specific responsibilities include:
· Oversees Clinical Operation Team which includes project managers, training/QC manager, regulatory affairs manager, CRAs, CRCs and contract CRC team. The position reports to Director of Clinical Operation
· Leads clinical research activities which include but not limited to protocol, CRF and all other study material development, regulatory affairs, project management, investigator and site management, budget management, study execution and monitoring, training and SOP, data capture and management, statistic analysis, and study reporting
· Coordinate with Data Management Center and IT manager to ensure successful execution of ongoing projects measured by objectives, budget and timeline
· Supports development and application of VitalSystem (VitalEDC, VitalHIS, VitalManage)
· Coordinates with Clinical Development for publication and communication and management of VitalConnect
· Prepare proposals and make presentations to prospective clients or collaborators


Qualifications:
· Strong understanding and experience in all phases of clinical studies, outcomes research, epidemiology study, population-based public health research, and the ability to interpret pre-clinical and clinical data, design and execute clinical trials
Strong leadership skills with a clear understanding and commitment to company goals and objectives, and the ability to build professional relationships with key customers, partners, and collaborators while maintaining the high ethical, regulatory and scientific standards.
Demonstrated hands on and can-do style as well as the ability to organize, prioritize, and use industry standard project management tools while creating and maintaining alignments with key stake holders.
Strong communication and language skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to produce high standard scientific reports and project updates and to conduct two-way translation.
Proper training in medicine and science received from the US, Europe, Japan or China is required. Special cases with extensive experience, demonstrated leadership, and sound visionary will be considered if lack of advanced degree.
Experience in multi-national pharmaceutical company, global CRO, or extensive experience in private/academic research institution is highly preferred.
