Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will
？ Ensure flawless commissioning of GE Jenbacher (GAS) engines at customer site locations
？ Provide leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, operator personal and other GE field personnel on the installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of GE Jenbacher Engines
？ Perform troubleshooting activities on site to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution and implement corrective actions
？ Act as a technical expert, share your expertise and coach others
？ Resolve complex technical issues, fosters knowledge sharing and help others
？ Explains complex technical issues in a concise way
？ Act as interface between customer/channel partner/GE Jenbacher
？ Play a key role in mentoring and training of field technicians in the team
？ Provide both external and internal timely, accurate, and professional team
？ Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the organization
？ Maintain a strong customer relationship through a positive, proactive & professional approach.
？ Maintain a strong safety mindset to ensure the executed work reflects the technical requirements along with the GE safety standards.


Qualifications/Requirements
？ Relevant vocational qualification (higher technical education institute or apprenticeship & relevant professional qualification)
？ Experience on large scale units around 10MW
？ Authorized for working on electrical equipment (minimum 1000V), proof necessary
？ Relevant field service experience (Minimum 5 years)
？ Ability and willingness to perform shift work if necessary
？ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner
？ Perform coaching of entry and professional level FST’s, asses their technical competence and make appropriate recommendations
？ Professional knowledge of control technology and (SPS) programming
？ Highly motivated self- starter and team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
？ Strong customer service-oriented and demonstrate consistently high levels of performance
？ Fluent English skills – verbal & written
？ Valid driver license

？ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
？ Able to carry out route cause analysis on incidents and present report-outs
？ Proven customer advocate able to work with a variety of end users
？ Proven coaching skills and experience in managing people
？ Proven analytical and quality improvement ability
？ Additional language skills highly beneficial
？ RCA Leader certification preferred
？ Green belt certification preferred
？ EHS education of advantage
