Key result area 1: Stock Control
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? The Production Administrator is responsible for the Stock Management and is sole to detain the keys to stock and hence sole to be allowed to put / take out parts from stock.
? Materials deliveries occur, all parts are carefully counted and stocked in within ERP system and physically sorted on dedicated shelves into stock.
Key result area 2: Work Orders, Job Cards and Serial Numbers
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? Through careful scheduling using information supplied and in close liaison with the production supervisor, works orders are printed and kitted to be supplied to Production team. If required, returns into stock are processed after Work Order completion.
? All Job cards and serial numbers are correctly documented, printed and issued to the appropriate Work Order and that the data base is maintained
Key result area 3: Returns notes and requisitions
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? Working in conjunction with the Production team, all requisitions, returns notes and production paperwork are administered in a correct and prompt manner.
? Shortage issues to works orders are promptly issued and the necessary documentation and ERP bookings completed.
Key result area 4: Sales & Customs related Logistics
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? BOMs of finished goods are correctly reviewed/informed to Logistics for Customs e-handbook
? Translation to Chinese of our parts description/ function for declaration to customs is performed
? Information of used local & imported parts in finished product/ Packing list & weight for each shipment is correctly provided
? Shortages and sales backorders are allocated and any issues or problems identified and reported to the management team.
Key result area 5: Quality Control
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? Support to the Production Supervisor, to write reports if required, is provided.
? As a member of the Production team and if required, the Production Administrator might have to participate in the Goods in Inspection under Production Supervisor directives.
Key result area 6: Purchasing
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? PRs are edited according approval of Assistant Production Manager and/or UK Management. PR can be for production raw materials but mainly for other related purchases (workshop equipment, consumables```)
Key result area 7: Quality and Environmental Policy
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? All aspects including systems, processes and staff operate and comply fully with both ISO 9001 Quality Management system and that working with the management team corrective action is promptly taken to correct any deviation from these standards.
Key result area 8: Logistics
Performance standards:
The job in this area will have been satisfactorily performed when:
? Daily operation and maintenance of the Free Trade Zone procedures including the electronic manuals and bonded warehousing system are actioned
? Communication with the production and warehousing sectors, to maintain the accuracy of the system data are completed
? Import and export business operations are handled
Other features of the job that require emphasising
The job requires a basic understanding of production control techniques. There will also be a reasonable level of interdepartmental communication required, including some liaison with Purchasing, Production, Logistics. The assistant administrator must be capable of communicating at all these levels.
Also he/she needs to be familiar with the relevant policies and regulations of import and export business of the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone as well as with MS Office, especially Excel
