Description:
Lead TVM cost reduction efforts through detailed analysis to identify and execute cost reduction opportunities, influence and persuade the organization to act, and assess and negotiate with suppliers to reduce the overall acquisition cost to Ford of parts procured.

Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
1. Analyze data prepared by the cost estimator, supplier quotations and data derived from other
multiple sources (e.g. PANDA, WIPS,…).
2. Identify and develop cost savings opportunities and develop sourcing / negotiation strategies how
these cost reduction opportunities will be implemented.
3. Execute cost saving opportunities in conjunction with FCSD APA Service Parts Buyers
4. Develop commodity and vehicle-level purchasing strategies in conjunction with other team
members to reduce Ford total acquisition cost.
5. Manage communication and negotiations with suppliers on all TVM projects
6. Manage internal communication with market-level managers, PD engineers, FCSD Finance, cost
estimators and OE / FCSD cross regional and global buyers and maintain a close and good
working relationship with these functions.
7. Manage cost saving targets and meet year over year performance targets
8. Establish Senior Management report out on TVM projects.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above
- 8 yrs + experience in a 1) purchasing , 2) sourcing or 3) operational
consulting role
- Familiar with automotive parts, components and general manufacturing processes; familiar with the value chain from supplier to production
- Preferred experience in any of the following is preferred: Purchasing in Manufacturing industry, Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, or Consulting
- Proven analytical and negotiation skills, ability to work across matrix organization, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills with capability to work independently. Team player.
- Excellent in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint software
