Role Summary
Reporting to the Head of HR with dotted-line to the People Partner in one of our business functions, the HRBP has the role of a TRUSTED ADVISOR, an EMPLOYER BRAND AMBASSADOR and a CHANGE ADVOCATE.
The HRBP is responsible for providing both strategic and operational HR advice & services and driving firm-wide transformational people initiatives. Specifically, the role involves the responsibilities to:
? Work closely with the People Partner on a day-to-day basis as a trusted advisor to identify value-added solutions and offer sound judgment to maximise performance excellence and people engagement
? Take the lead to execute people strategies sponsored by the People Partner & PPC team in the areas such as workforce planning, resourcing, learning & development, performance development, rewards, employee engagement, etc.
? Collaborate with partners / department heads / team managers to define requirements and bridge with the PPC team and serve as a one-stop contact for individuals within the business function regarding all people matters to ensure people needs are fulfilled
? Influence People Champions to mobilise resources and cascade messages by linking the desired outcome of the people initiatives to the benefits in people’s workplace experience
? Track and report people metrics to facilitate informed decision making by partners, department heads and team managers within the business function
Experience, Qualifications and Qualities
? A minimum of 8 years of managerial experience in HR management, business management or client servicing roles gained from professional services firms or multinational corporations
? Degree holder or professional qualification in human resources, psychology, accounting, engineering, business or equivalent
? Strong service mindset and genuine interest in championing people initiatives
? Demonstrated learning agility to master different roles or job natures and tolerate ambiguity
? Evidence of forming strong business relationships with line management as well as at executive levels
? Proven influencing, negotiation, presentation and data analytical skills to deliver results
