Job Description:

• Measured based on target system objectives that currently apply for market-oriented functions.
• Integral analysis and development of a sector (potential, competition), including an implementation/market penetration strategy.
• Has extensive knowledge of market and competition data in relevant target market.
• Makes the market and competition data acquired available for the production of sales concepts and business models.
• Determines technical trends from market requirements and discusses these internally with the relevant units (GBU, TAS, etc.).
• Possesses extensive application and product knowledge.
• Always analyses and develops a sector integrally e.g. all kinds of energy production and distribution in the energy target market.
• Analyses the potential of the defined sectors and the offerings of the competition.
• Selects possible key customers in the target markets on the basis of forward-looking requirement analyses.
• Supports the local marketing activities of the LS (e.g. exhibitions, promotions etc.)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years relevant working experience in industrial connector and network applications/ markets or in (sub-) suppliers to the machinery industry which use many different connectivity solutions in their products.
• The candidate must be university graduate in Electric or Electronics Engineering.
• The candidate should have and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and with good analytical mind, willing to learn, supportive, detailed, organized and presentable.
• Complete and expert fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement.
