Job Title: Spec Writer (Mechanical)
Location: Beijing


Job Purpose:
Provide technical support to sales team, marketing team and external customers, including pre-sales promotion, technical specification writing, project bidding and coordination.

Accountabilities:
Market demand creation, specification promotion and project coordination to end user, architects, contractors and external partners.
Preparation of door hardware specifications, schedules and technical documents.
Products and technical documents for project budgeting and competitive bidding
Arrangement of samples & technical submissions
Technical training and execution of corrective actions to customer and distributors
Other technical support to sales team and order administration team

Requirements:
Bachelors degree or above in mechanical engineering / computer or related
2 years experience in door hardware or building materials industry
Good knowledge of ANSI and/or EN standards door hardware products
Experience in construction project processes
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications and Auto CAD
Good written and spoken English

Demonstrate analytical skills and creativity in assessing and resolving technical challenges
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and resolve problems independently
As team player, flexible, able to adapt to multiple tasks, and coordinate smoothly with colleagues to achieve team goals
Self confident, strongly reliable and mature
Good verbal and written communication skills
