Organization Development Manager-OD Manager-HR Reward Manager- Reward & Recognition Function Head, Greater China -HR Performance Management


Reports To: Organization Development Process Owner


Job Focus:

Formulates and implements Greater China reward & recognition strategy in support of organization's strategic business goals.

Scope & Impact of Decision:

Plans, designs, evaluates and administers performance management system, employee compensation and benefits programs such as short and long term incentives, job grade system, job evaluations, retirement plans and employee recognition programs to foster employee performance to enable business success.

1. Define and administer GC performance & reward system and policies

2. Regional Compensation & Benefits & Recognition budget

Finance Authority

1. Monitor and control budget

2. Approve budget upto $$-

Supervisory Authorities & Responsibilities

1 Supervises reward & recognition functions to ensure performance management system, Compensation and recognition functions are implemented by market Human Resources Support.

Working Relationship

1. Work closely with market Human Resources Support head to ensure the implementation of GC reward policy & recognition programs Daily

2. Partner with Organization Development & Motivations owner and success leader to ensure the reward system and recognition program align with organization goals Weekly

3. Work with different process team owner/member/function head to communicate on reward policy, compensation & benefits, Job description and recognition programs As required

4. Partner with process team owner/ function head/ employee for employee opinion on employee recognition programs and compensation & benefits As required

5. Work with consultancy/ service provider for employee compensation system As required

6. Coordinate with Corporate for job grade, HR compensation and recognition practice alignment As required

Duties (in order of importance)

1. Develop and implement GC performance management system to evaluate employee performance in align of company strategies & goals Bi-yearly

2. Plan, design and implement compensation & benefits system to enhance staff motivation Yearly

3. Review and redevelop Greater China job grade system and salary structure with corporate job grade alignment As needed

4. Conduct regular review of market survey to update salary structure and recommend change to compensation & benefits system to maintain competitive position in marketplace Yearly

5. Set up and update Greater China Job Description with clear job responsibilities and authority to enhance timely decision making As needed

6. Develop and implement employee recognition system/ policy to promote recognition culture/ atmosphere to reinforce positive behavior and enhance staff morale and productivity Weekly

7. Partner with market Human Resources Support to ensure the implementation of performance management system, recognition program and compensation & benefits programs according to related policy Daily

8. Prepare and administer Greater China labor budget Yearly

9. Maintain and update job grade system, job description, compensation & benefits policies, practices, records and database in Greater China Region Daily

10. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned


Main Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above preferred in Human Resources or related disciplines

2. TOEIC 785 scores or above is preferred

3. 10 years relevant experience with 5 years managerial experience in Compensation & Benefits in international company preferred
