Healthcare Magnetic Resonance

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for real-time MR s/w system design & development, collaborating with global s/w team in US, India & Japan
• Involved into all stages of the development process (specifications, development, verification, documentation, support), and interface with other project stakeholders (architects, project managers, etc)
• Provide development estimates for release planning and activity planning
• Analyze functional requirements and implement new features
• Provide efficient support together with the product support team for the developed products throughout the release lifecycle
• Execute the quality processes to ensure customer satisfaction with all product deliverables

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is the least, major in computer science or related engineering area. 2 years' related working experience at the minimum
• Strong embedded C/C++ programming skills & experience. OOAD experience is preferred
• Familiar with embedded system development. Experience with VxWorks or embedded Linux is highly preferred
• Experience of Unix/Linux development is preferred
• Familiar with s/w development quality processes
• Knowledge of a source management tool (Clearcase, CVS).
• Fluent in English reading and writing, mid-level English communication skills. CET-6 is preferred
• Self-motivated and autonomous in the work
• Good team work spirit and willing to contribute to the team’s success
• Experience in the Hi-tech industry or s/w companies is desirable. Working experience in international companies is preferred

Technical Expertise:
• Experience developing web applications (Spring, RESTful, Jersey, RestEasy,JAX-WS, Web Services)
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS
• Experience with database tools (JPA, Hibernate,JDBC, Spring Data)
• Experience with rules engines (Camel, Drools, JRules) & modern tooling (Gradle, Maven, Git, SVN)

Business Acumen:
• Have a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application
• Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
• Has the ability to make basic technology choices based on experience
• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry

Leadership:
• Has the ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary
• Voices opinions and presents clear rationale. Uses data or factual evidence to influence
• Recognizes collaborative behavior and participates in collaborative activities
• Learns organization vision statement and decision making framework. Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision
