Essential Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities
• Work in close collaboration with GE Healthcare team, research sites, and clinical partners in China to develop new MR imaging applications aligned with business needs.
• Work with sites to evaluate new applications, software and coils, collect and provide feedback to GEHC.
• Provide technical training and support including pulse sequence programming, MR physics, and image post-processing techniques to collaborative researchers, when necessary.
• Contribute to GEHC MR mindshare through publication and presentation of the research output.
• Use broad expertise in MR physics and applications to help resolve urgent issues with current products.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Ph.D. (or Ph.D. in progress) in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated record of innovation in MR physics research, development of new pulse sequences, reconstruction methods, visualization/image processing, or applications of MR imaging.
• 3+ years experience in MR imaging research or closely related field, may include graduate studies.
• Fluent Chinese language oral and written communication skills
• Good English language oral and written communication skills

Desired Characteristics

• Experience with research collaborations and support of clinical research needs
• Strong knowledge of MR imaging applications
• Proficient in MR scanner operation and in requirements of the human volunteer scanning.
• 2+ years experience working with clinicians within a hospital environment; Ability to initiate collaborative projects and manage them effectively
• Signa MR pulse programming expertise.
• Fluent in SW programming in particular C/C++
