Role Summary/Purpose

This position provides the software engineer for global x-ray software engineering team. The role shall independently resolve the design issue.

Essential Responsibilities

Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Software packages integration.
• finish software design with good quality according to program inputs.
• Comply with the GE internal Software Development Life Cycle procedure for the whole software development activities.
• involve global discussion and review for good design quality.
• join the cross-function review for the better features implementation.
• keep tracking on new technology, methodology and design concept, ensure that design activities hold a competitive level.
• Install base issues investigation and fixing.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. BS in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
2. 3 years engineering experience in a related field
3. Strong experience and knowledge in Linux & its shell script, perl etc
4. Be familiar with any of the following: C/C++
5. Excellent global communication skill in English.
6. Quick learning skill.

1. MS degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
2. Be familiar with medical image process algorithm.
3. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
4. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
5. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
6. Global project experience
