THE POSITION
Successful candidates for the position will need to:
Source qualified targets based on company’s investment focus and business strategy.
Screen and evaluate potential targets for investment or acquisition. Make sound proposals to Investment/M&A department head and company’s senior management. .
Structure and execute deals, including assessment, modelling, due diligence, negotiations and closing.
Conduct industry or sector research as needed; analyze market data, business trends and operating metrics to aid investment decision-making by senior management.
Building relationship with target companies. Be a key communication channel between company and target, identifies/anticipates needs/risks/opportunities at target companies.
Introduce & coordinate business development opportunities for business units when appropriate.
Monitor performance of portfolios and facilitate commercial relationship, if any, between the portfolio companies and company’s business units.
Lead team discussions on deals & other deal related events.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Must have at least 3-5 years of deal experience, capable of deal due diligence, valuation & legal documents review.
Solid understanding of the Internet business models, and well-connected in the industry.
Strong business sense and strategic thinker – able to see the “big picture” and identify issues and solutions.
Leadership potential, positive working attitude and good team working spirit. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cope with pressure.
Superior communication skills and be able to interact cross functionally at all levels internally and externally. Able to develop relationships with target companies.
Must have strong presentation skills and be comfortable making presentations to internal and external senior executives.
Attention to details. Willing to get hands on with company’s operating details.
Good written and spoken communication skills in English. Must read, write and speak fluent Mandarin Chinese.
Bachelor degree or above.
Investment banking / Big4 M&A experience a plus.
