Objectives:

Develop and Manage relationships with selected Food Value Chain partners (ie. China Oil & Foodstuffs Corporation), lead development of Stewardship and Sustainability initiatives relative to Marketing in Crop Protection China.

Main Tasks:

Stewardship / Sustainability:

• Develop and manage relationship with selected Food Value Chain partners (ie. China Oil & Foodstuffs Corporation);


• Enhance BASF’s relationship via collaborating on existing and BASF portfolio; integrate AgBalance where possible.

Functional Crop Care Commercialization Manager:

• Provide short and mid-term sales and marketing strategies for the nutrient management segment including business model, product pricing, portfolio management and product positioning to ensure Crop Proctection China develops and maintains a sustainable and profitable business.

Requirements:

• University Degree or appropriate professional certification


• Minimum 3-5 years Marketing / Sales experience; preferably in Agriculture but not necessary


• Ability to influence, mentor, coach and develop team members without direct supervisory authority.


• A broad understanding of the agricultural crop protection industry as well as thorough knowledge of marketing and business planning concepts and their application.


• Demonstrated ability to utilize financial data and market intelligence to take decisive action and implement business decisions.
